Kevin Jones

Adam Friedel began his career as a confinement officer in 1998 at the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department. He is an honor graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University. Adam would later serve in other roles at the Sheriff’s Department including Assistant Jail Commander, Patrol Duty, Patrol Sergeant, Detective, and Chief Deputy. Additionally, Adam served as a general and physical tactics instructor, a traffic crash investigator and reconstructionist, and clandestine lab detection and dismantling specialist. During his career at DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Adam was part of the Northeast Indiana SWAT, where he served as an operator and hostage negotiator. Adam lives with his wife, Leslie, in Auburn and their three sons. In his free time, Adam coaches high school football and enjoys traveling.

Kevin Jones is a proud graduate of Lakeland High School and attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Kevin has over 35 years in Law Enforcement including serving as a Reserve Officer at the Wolcottville Police Department, five years serving as Jailer and Dispatcher at the Noble County Jail and 23 years at the Kendallville Police Department where he held positions of Patrol Officer, Sergeant, and Police Chief. He also worked undercover buying narcotics for IMAGE Drug Task Force in the four county area. Kevin has been a Criminal Justice Instructor for Impact Institute since 2011 He also serves as a Police Lieutenant for the Parkview Police Department where he is the shift supervisor.
